Accenflair IT Solutions Private Limited ("DeskViu", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, company name) when you register or request a demo. Our desktop agent collects work-related data including active application names, browser URLs visited during work hours, and periodic screenshots of the employee's screen. This data is collected only during configured work hours and with employee awareness. We also collect usage analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product.
2. How we use your information
Employee data collected by the desktop agent is used solely to provide the time tracking and productivity monitoring service to the employer who has subscribed. We do not sell, share, or use employee data for advertising. Account data (name, email) is used for account management, product updates, and customer support.
3. Data storage and security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Screenshots and activity logs are stored on secured cloud infrastructure with access controls. We retain employee work data for the duration of the subscription plus 90 days after cancellation. Account data is retained for 12 months after account deletion.
4. Employee consent and transparency
Employers are required to inform their employees that the DeskViu agent is installed and running. The agent is visible in the system tray and employees can view their own data in the self-service portal. Monitoring is restricted to work hours as configured by the employer. Screenshot capture can be disabled per employee.
5. Third-party services
We use RazorPay for payment processing (governed by their privacy policy). We use Tawk.to for live chat support. We use standard cloud infrastructure providers. None of these services receive employee productivity data.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@deskviu.com. Employees may contact their employer's HR administrator, who can access and export their data from the DeskViu dashboard. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We'll notify you by email and display a notice on the platform at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
